1.Bai Dinh pagoda, Ninh Binh

Bai Dinh Pagoda is one of the pagodas known for many Vietnamese records such as: the pagoda with the largest area, the largest bronze Buddha image, the pagoda has the most Arhat statues, the pagoda has the most Bodhi trees in Vietnam.

Bai Dinh pagoda complex has an area of 539ha, formed from the Dinh Dynasty. Surrounding the pagoda is large, magnificent limestone arcs, harmonizing with the pagoda scene to form a massive and solemn building.

2.Thien Mu Pagoda, Thua Thien Hue

This is an ancient pagoda located in the west of Hue city, on Ha Khe hill, in the left bank of Huong River. From here go to the city center takes about 5km. Thien Mu Pagoda is one of the symbolic images of Hue city, with many unique architectural works, this is considered the most sacred temple. This pagoda is famous as the oldest pagoda in Vietnam because the temple is over 400 years old and has gone through many changes and ups and downs.

3.Thien Tru Pagoda (Huong Pagoda), Ha Tay

Huong Pagoda or Huong Son Pagoda is a Vietnamese cultural and religious complex consisting of Buddhist pagodas, several temples, communal houses and worshiping agricultural beliefs in Ha Tay and Hanoi.

4.One Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi

One Pillar Pagoda is also known as Dien Huu Tu or Lien Hoa Dai. This is a pagoda with the most unique architecture in Vietnam. This pagoda has only one room located on a stone pillar in the middle of Linh Chieu lake, in the lake is planted with many lotus. It can be said that One Pillar Pagoda is one of the unique symbols of Hanoi capital.

5.Con Son Kiep Bac Pagoda, Hai Duong

The complex of Con Son – Kiep Bac is a particularly important national monument of our country, with a huge architecture, a sacred place with mountains, temple tower and pine forests that attract tourists to visit every year. This place includes the historical relics associated with 3 times defeating the Mong Nguyen invaders of the Tran dynasty in the XIII century and the 10-year resistance war of Lam Son insurgents against the Ming army in the 15th century.

6.Vĩnh Nghiem pagoda, TP.HCM

The pagoda’s campus is about 6,000m2, including 3 main areas: Three gates, Central Building and Stupas. Besides being a sacred place of worship, Vinh Nghiem pagoda is also famous for its wood carvings. Traditional tile roof architecture, each carving is meticulous and sophisticated.

7.Ba Thien Hau pagoda, Binh Duong

Ba Thien Hau pagoda in Binh Duong is called Ba Binh Duong pagoda by local people, whose name is Thien Hau Cung. It is one of the famous pagodas in Binh Duong that is contributed and built by the Chinese-Chinese association to worship the goddess Thien Hau Thanh Mau.

8.Ba Chua Xu Chau Doc Temple, An Giang

Located at the foot of Sam mountain in Nui Sam ward, Chau Doc city, An Giang province. With sacredness, Ba temple attracts millions of visitors every year. Not only is the cultural and religious center of the An Giang people and the people of Western Vietnam but also an attractive spiritual destination of tourist during the holidays and New Year.

9.Dai Tong Lam Pagoda, Ba Ria – Vung Tau

The pagoda was built by the Most Venerable Thich Thien Hoa in 1958 which is a place of teaching about Buddhism and gathering monks and nuns everywhere to study and train.

This place has 10,000 Buddha statues donated by Buddhists to build the pagoda. The massive architecture has helped this Vung Tau destination set 4 national records including: The pagoda with the largest main hall, The pagoda  with the largest monolithic Maitreya Bodhisattva statue, The pagoda has the most Buddha, monks and nuns.

10.Xa Loi pagoda, Ho Chi Minh City

The pagoda is designed according to modern architecture but still carries the traditional characteristics of Saigon. It is also an impressive landmark of the struggle between Buddhists against the regime of discrimination and oppression of religion by Ngo Dinh Diem.
