10 thoughts on “Discovery Vietnam Tour

  1. I booked a 15 day tour through Vietnam from Australia with A Travel Mate. Even though they had had lots of good feedback I was still a bit nervous as they were based in Vietnam but all the feedback is true. They are an excellent company to deal with. I dealt with a girl called Angelina and she was very quick at responding to emails and when I arrived in Vietnam came to meet me in my hotel. She gave me her WhatsApp number before I arrived and texted back very quickly if I had any questions. Everything ran very smoothly and all pickups to/from airports/hotels/tours were on time – a very slick operation which worked well even though it seems like organised chaos to a western foreigner. I would definitely use A Travel Mate again and want to thank Angleina Ms for her round the clock support to make everything run smoothly. PS I had a awesome time

  2. Vietnam is a fascinating country that you must have in your bucket list. Each City or village or rivers are different to one another. The ruins of Kingdoms and Cham Temples, Halong Bay, the caves, From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City plenty to see. 15 days was not enough. We plan to visit again using A travel mate. Angel Vu looked after from the day I wrote to her up until our departure. All guides are very friendly and could speak English. All hotel accommodation and travel arrangements were excellent. Thank you for your great effort in organising our tour.

  3. Angelina Ms organized us a 5 day trip around vietnam!
    It was an amazing trip,.
Angel was available to help us during the all trip and adapt the program to our last minute requests – we could contact her by email, phone or whatsapp – so helpful.
We highly recommend to contact her if you are planing an organized tour to Vietnam.

  4. I have used A Travel Mate to fully arrange a 15 days trip for me across Vietnam. I have contacted them only a few days prior to my departure and they’ve been able to get everything ready for me in time, including my visa approval letter.
Even though I had to pay almost 50% more for traveling solo (requiring single accommodations and private airport transfers), I have no regret whatsoever for having chosen them. On the contrary, thanks to them, I ended up having a hassle-free trip and discovering Vietnam from North to South in -I believe- one of the most optimized ways.
Everything was fully compliant with the program advertised on their website and then confirmed upon my booking. Even my dietary requirements (quite strict) have been fully respected for all meals provided as part of the tour package!
I usually enjoy arranging my trips myself but if I can get the same quality service I got from A Travel mate in other countries, I would definitely consider the option to use a local agency again.

  5. Our tour comprised Vietnam (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa, Hue, Hoi-An, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Mekong Delta). Every day was extremely well organised. It was made clear what time we would be picked up from our Hotel and our guides had excellent knowledge of the attractions that we visited. We went for the four star option and were not disappointed. Angel Vu was our A Travel Mate contact. She was fabulous – always able to help. When we met her she linked us up with her on Messenger so if we were unsure of anything we could readily contact her. Initially we considered four tour companies. a Travel Mate cost the least. Though it cost the least there was no compromise on quality – they were fantastic

  6. Our 15 days trip to Vietnam in Nov was well organised by Ms. Angelina who was our first point of contact at a travel Mate. She was prompt in answering mails, and giving us all info that needed for our 15 days trip. Once finalised, a detailed itinerary was given to us with hotel names in each city, places that we would visit each day , our train timings, domestic flight details etc, so we had a clear idea of our daily activities. The individual tour guides in each place were very punctual and quite knowledgable. The personal drivers drove the cars with utmost care and safety. The lunch breaks were given at the best restaurants with good food and ambience. The hotels chosen for our stay was also neat and clean and in the city centres, where food joints, nights markets, shopping streets were just at walkable distance. We enjoyed our entire Vietnam tour – landed at Hanoi City, then visited, Sapa, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh city and back from there. Once in the hands of A Travel Mate, one can rest assured of a smooth and comfortable trip. Thank you once again Angelina Ms for making our trip a memorable one

  7. Angel from A Travel Mate made sure our holiday was customized exactly the way we wanted. She was very friendly and helpful.
Our holiday was so much fun and all our accommodation, flights and transfers were well organized.
I would recommend this team to anyone planning a trip to Vietnam

  8. Your country, people, culture and food were nothing less than spectacular!
The tours were well booked, organised and communicated.Any changes were communicated and the tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. We made so many friends along the way and could not fault the trip in any regard . We would definitely visit again in the future.
I have and will continue recommending you and your tour company to friends and family. Word of mouth is the best way of advertising and you have a fan in us.

  9. Just sitting at the airport and reviewing the great time i have had in Vietnam. Booked Discovery Vietnam Tour (15 days) My tour operator was Angelina Ms. Many many thanks to her and her team. It was a great experience! This was actually my first time in Vietnam and i will definitely come back! Love the food and many places i went to…
The ancient town of Vietnam of Hoi An was the highlight as well as the vibrating cities of Saigon and Hanoi….

  10. I have just returned from two weeks in Vietnam. It was a great experience, much thanks to the arrangements from a Travle Mate. When we planned the trip, we knew what we wanted to see. We contacted them and asked if they could make a tour for us. Angelina contacted us with a suggestion, and after some mailing we decided on a programe. After that, things went smootly. Having finished the trip, we are really impressed by how professional they had arranged everything for us. The pick-ups were on time, the quality of the cars and buses were very good, the drivers were friendly and helpful, and the guides had great knowledge about the sights. The hotels were good and centrally located. We had prepaid all the arrangements and transports and that made it very simple for us.
