Angelina Ms and her professional staff at A Travel Mate made our 9 days visit to Myanmar the trip of a lifetime. She organised all of our tours, hotels, drivers and guides in a personalised tour that let us experience the many cultures and wonders of Myanmar. Local guides were knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. Hotel bookings and internal flights went without a hitch. Guides and drivers went out of their way to ensure interesting and well paced days. We can highly recommend A Travel Mate as a professional and well organised tour company providing great value for money..
We had an excellent tour of Myanmar arranged by Angel Vu. We particularly enjoyed Bagan with all the temples. Our hotels were excellent and our local guides and drivers were very good! We enjoyed it greatly!!
We started our trip with a lot of concerns as we did not know about A Travel Mate. But on reaching Yangon, all our concerns were taken off by the team and we enjoyed our 9 day trip to Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, and to Minguin across the river Irrawaddy.
We were five from two families from Bengaluru India and were interested in the historical places of Myanmar.
We have a special appreciation for the way they organized the multiple modes of transportation viz., the flights, the cars, boats, exclusively for us.The tour guides clearly understood our needs and accordingly arranged our trips, The hotels they booked were very nice, at appropriate places.
In summary we enjoyed the trip thanks to A Travel Mate
We have been booking a 9-days tour in Myanmar with A Travel Mate and they have done an excellent job. We have chosen for the 5*-tour, that offers 5*-accommodations that are beautiful. From the first moment we arrived in Myanmar by plane till we left, everything was organised very very well.
All the drivers and guides were very professional and have tried to show us the best of Myanmar at all times. We have got a great impression of the country, the beautiful people that are living there and their culture. We have visit Mandalay and surroundings, followed by a cruise over the river to Bagan and we’ve ended the trip on the Inle lake! We loved every minute of it!
We will recommend A Travel Mate to everybody who wants to see Myanmar, Mrs. Angelina Vu has been communicating by email very well (she answers always within max. 24 hours) and during the trip she checked on us even by phone! Perfectly organised trip, great travel agency!
Whilst A Travel Mate generally gets excellent reviews as I would expect, I visited Myanmar a couple of years ago exactly on that purpose and got excellent help from Angelina Ms organizing as many attractive locations in Yangoon and Bagan as I could handle during my short stay, flights, very good accommodation, restaurants, pleasant guides and drivers sitting out my photo sessions patiently and always helpful if I had a particular request. Came home with over 1000 images and fond memories of this beautiful country, its super friendly inhabitants and the great help I got from A Travel Mate. Hope to visit again soon and will definitely go back to them.
We had a great 9 day tour of Myanmar, organised by Angelina VU. We could probably have needed a few more days with some rest days, but we were limited in the amount of time we had. We had 3 great guides and 1 that was okay. All private car transfers were great, no needing to wait for a group. Hotels were a bit mixed in standard, would probably go for 4* and not 3* if I were to do it again. I left my RayBans in Mandalay and Angelina has posted them to the U.K. Superb service. I would have no hesitation in recommending
This trip gave us a wider perspective of Buddhism. We enjoyed visiting the temples and pagodas each with its special history.
Inle Lake was the star attraction of the tour. We could not have imagined how a lake could influence the life of the people.
Thanks again for this wonderful adventure.
Hotels and guides were fantastic.
The guides I had in Bagan and Yangon were excellent and I particularly appreciated that on my return to Yangon I had access to a guide and driver again until my flight later that same night.
Thank you for all your help in organising the trip – I would highly recommend A Travel Mate to friends planning to travel to Myanmar and I will return to Myanmar for sure in the future – what a beautiful country!
My friend and I visited Myanmar last month and Ms Angelina has done an exceptional job planning the trip for us. We communicated via email with our needs any expectation and she always responded the email very quickly. The 5 Stars hotels she booked for us, especially in Bagan and Inle Lake were world class. Our tour guide Joes at Bagan and Inle lake were very experienced tour guides and provided us with great local history and hospitality.
I will absolutely is A Travel Mate again and recommend to all my friends.
We were a small group of 3 and had previously had an excellent holiday in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia organised by A Travel Mate so we booked again, this time for Myanmar. Again we were impressed with the organisation, the itinerary and the friendliness and helpfulness of guides and drivers.
As with our previous tour in 2018, we enjoyed the freedom and flexibility of a private tour and were very impressed with A Travel Mate service and the care taken to ensure our positive travel experiences and value for money.
