Itineraries Tour

Depart at 6:00AM. This morning we drive 160km in high-way National No.1 to Lang Son city where is one of the biggest border city of the Northeast, also is the terminal of National Road No.1 lengthen from Lang Son city to Chau Doc city the end most of the map in the South of Vietnam. We will arrive at Lang Son slightly before lunch-time, have noodle with pork (thịt ba chỉ quay và thịt xá xíu) for a late breakfast. After breakfast we will join the mountain road toward That Khe, Dong Khe, Quang Uyen, Trung Khanh, then drop in Ban Gioc border gate, Ban Gioc waterfall for a late lunch. After lunch we go to visit Ban Gioc waterfall and take picture of this most beautiful waterfall of Vietnam. Back to our vehicle to go to hotel. Overnight in Ban Gioc Quay Son hotel.

Located in 1,100 meter above sea level, Nguyen Binh district is the roof of Cao Bang province. Living in this only last and foremost natural forest of Cao Bang province are many groups of ethnic minorities such as Dzao, Tay, Nung, H’mong, Kinh, Ngai, Hoa with the subsistence livelihoods like growing precious medicinal plants, growing water rice in terrace fields, maize, raising poultries, weaving raw fabric weaving, build wooden houses, etc. Because of un-touching by tourists so that people call Nguyen Binh is a sleeping princess, still waiting for a prince to wake her up, alike of the mystery of Phia Oắc peak at 1,931m for a magnificent view, a giant grass hills of Phan Thanh commune, Kolia tea farm with Gate to heaven, a very large natural bamboo forest Truc Sao and colorful livelihood of minorities…. 

7:00 We join the car to drive to the Ban Gioc Truc Lam pagoda, where is considered as a sacred place guarding the border of Vietnam. From the temple’s cloud courtyard, we can have the valley photo and Ban Gioc waterfall photo.

8:00 Have breakfast and check out

8:30 We join the car to drive to Nguom Ngao grotto and visit it in an hour.

9:30 Depart for Nguyen Binh district with our tour guide and driver. Through 2 hours via Quang Uyen then stop at Cao Bang town for lunch. After lunch we drive another 2 hours to Nguyen Binh district and have first stop at Phja Oắc peak which is considered as the top roof of Northeast of Vietnam. After visit the magnificent view, we drive to Ba Be lake where we will stay in a house on stilts of Tay minority.

7:30AM after breakfast, we drive a short trip to Buoc Luom pier to pick up a motor boat for cruise along Nang river which falling downstream to Puong grotto, go through under this mountain to a T-junction where we turn left to Ba Be lake. Stop the boat at An Ma islet to visit a temple worship to Mother God of Mountain, Holy Tran, and Mac general since 16 century (1593–1677). Flowing the boat trip, we stop at Ba Goa islet to visit a relic stone stele which remain the legend of this Ba Be lake. We return our homestay for lunch then bit farewell the family to drive back to Hanoi city.
