  1. A Travel Mate is a travel company that organizes custom tours. Myint Swe (Lion) is wonderful, genuine, trustworthy tour guide. With a degree from the University of Yangon in English and Buddhism and many years of tour guide experience, Lion is well positioned to not only take care of every detail of your trip, but also to enlighten you on the history and culture of this wonderful country. We are certain that traveling with Lion saved us not only trouble, but also money. We traveled on boats, planes and cars, stayed in wonderful hotels and ate amazing food, and we worried about NOTHING. Lion is the perfect guide and a wonderful companion.

  2. Angelina Ms from A Travel Mate planned a very nice trip through Myanmar. High diversity of interesting place. We met a lot of local people and had different guides for each place. Very very safe country and great guides! We enjoy a lot!

  3. Ms. Vu worked out the details of my trip to Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan. Everything went very smoothly. Bagan in particular was a great experience.
In order to preserve the extraordinary archaeological value of the ancient sights, I believe, access in Bagan to some of the most popular pagodas eventually must be restricted from all those buses, horse-carts, motorcycles etc., and a form of non-polluting public transportation provided from the entrance area.
A Travel Mate’s local guides were very professional, knowledgeable. Their English was very good albeit the pronunciation for me sometimes was not very easy to understand.
A Travel Mate from day one proved to be very professional, very businesslike, I can sincerely recommend them.

  4. Angelina Ms was a great tour manager who is flexible and accommodative. She proposed a great tour itinerary with reasonable price. Her ground team at yangon was great too. They are professional and highly accommodative. Good knowledge about the tourist spots and excellent knowledge of restaurants that meet our demand. Overall, so very satisfied journey for our group despite the long road journey. Too good to recommend.

  5. I took this tour with Mini Soe in October. She was an excellent guide with lots of local knowledge and i learned so much off her about Myanamar and Buddhism. We got on really well and i enjoyed her youthfull views on life in Myanmar. I would highly recommend MiniSoe

  6. We booked this tour on-line from Australia. Ms Angel Vu was an excellent Travel Agent and always kept us informed, both during the booking period and while we were on tour, The guides provided were very informative and their English was excellent. However, sometimes it took a while to get used to their accents. The drivers provided were quite cautious in their driving. The hotels chosen were 3 Star but as with all 3 star hotels in SE Asia the facilities were excellent and the beds very comfortable. We visited several of the main attractions in Myanmar such as Inle Lake and Bagan as well as the more of the beaten track locations. We visited many Pagodas Myanmar. Bagan was a pleasant eye opener and not quite like we expected.
The people of Myanmar are very friendly and kind and will always greet you with a smile. A Travel Mate it is a great and safe place to visit.

  7. My friend and I visited Myanmar last month and Ms Angelina has done an exceptional job planning the trip for us. We communicated via email with our needs any expectation and she always responded the email very quickly. The 5 Stars hotels she booked for us, especially in Bagan and Inle Lake were world class. Our tour guide Joes at Bagan and Inle lake were very experienced tour guides and provided us with great local history and hospitality.
I will absolutely is A Travel Mate again and recommend to all my friends.

  8. It’s always a great opportunity to visit Myanmar, especially in summer. It may get hot because of high temperature; it would bedefinitely worthy. Our trip to Myanmar was one week ago, private tour operated by A Travel Mate. It was my first time witnessing the country of uncounted ancient temples. Escaping away from the busy life, my trip went nicely and passed peaceful villages. I didn’t have achance to take as much as photos because of my broken camera I dropped in the first day in Yangon, but I truly fell in love with the beautiful country where the people were so warm heart and friendly even the tour guide or the locals. Peaceful and magnificent place to have a great understanding of Buddhism. Thanks to Angelina Ms for your well-arranged itinerary. Lots of thanks!

  9. I love the cuisine is a mixture of fragrant curries, tangy salads, healthy soups and tasty sweets. Visited golden pagoda where was the biggest Buddha Statue I have ever seen added by the long story, which shared from the tourguide what made my trip to ancient places was much more interesting. My tour length was 7 days which was enough for exploring around Myanmar. The hotel was situated at good location so I usually walked to discovery the city in my free time. The price was fine and goods were nice as well. Thank you! I will definitely take the tour again on our next trip to discover new and wonderful local Burmese dishes.
